Those lazy and laidback days of summer are here at last. We have a chance to relax, turn off the computer and cell phone and enjoy a little quiet time to refresh ourselves. It's a good time to take stock of where we are and where we would like to be.
The church doesn't close in the summer. We are here every Sunday praising God for all the gifts in our lives, and for the gift of our lives. Maybe you have had a passing thought about finding a church, about returning to church, or about introducing your children to church. Summertime is a good time to do that. We welcome families with children, adults who are single or married...the Episcopal Church welomes YOU...whoever you are and wherever you are on your faith journey.
I would love to see you at St. Luke's on Sunday. Stop after mass and introduce yourself, enjoy some refreshments with our parishioners, and I know you will return home with the joy and peace in your heart that only God can give.
Take a vacation from the everyday and join us in church this Sunday!
